another happy return!
So, wow, it's my birthday.

I'm eighteen, by the way. Which means, hey, I'm legal now, I can stop lurking and mumbling about my age under my breath. Which also means I no longer have an excuse not to try writing smut at least once, so I can say I've done it. God damn it.

But anyway, that's not what this post is about.

This post is a party post! Feel free to spam me with off-topic subjects that amuse you, fun images, etc. Tell me how you have been since last I blogged! Or anything, really. I'm easy like that. :D I really just want to talk to people.

Is it a bit scary being eighteen? Like, you're now officially an adult, or at least very close to being one. Is that weird or are you ready for it?

Also, is it true that the age of consent in the US is eighteen then?

It... probably will be, eventually, but I haven't really reached the freakout yet. It'll probably happen tomorrow, when I go down to the DMV and register to vote. I think I'm ready, though. I think I can handle being responsible for myself.

I know! I kept expecting to feel old or something, but I guess I'm used to the default fandom ages because I still just feel ridiculously young. But I don't actually mind too much now, because I'm not too young anymore. :D
